Ashurst was pleased to very successfully launch the third of our webinars: Electrifying Australia: new models in distributed and digitised energy.
The path to net zero emissions will require a shift to electrifying everything, at least as much as we can in transport, buildings and industry. That will require new models for the operation of large scale renewables and storage, but also a clear path to how this can be achieved at the distributed level - meaning homes and businesses.
So how do we set about a path to “electrifying everything”. How do we ensure the market and the policy levers are set at the right place. How do we ensure that this transition - dramatic as it will be - is fair and just for all consumers, large and small.
