Tristan advises clients in the energy and resources sectors, in particular on renewable energy, energy storage and emerging technologies.
Tristan regularly advises on the development of new projects (including on regulatory issues and key project documents such as connection, power purchase/derivative, gas tolling and asset management agreements), due diligence underpinning M&A and financing transactions, green product schemes, embedded networks, retail arrangements, and the operation of the National Electricity Market.
He has a proven track record of supporting successful project delivery and ongoing operation across Australia, and in advising on complex regulatory issues in a continually-changing environment.
Tristan also advises on transport and international trade matters, including on the packaging, storage, transport and sale of goods (including dangerous goods), customs, biosecurity and port issues.
