Caroline is a specialist major projects lawyer practicing in power & utilities, oil & gas, mining and energy and carbon regulation. Caroline's career experience includes more than five years of practice in London and several secondments to major international utilities and mining companies.
She has broad experience advising utilities, major international oil and gas and mining companies, independent power producers, investment banks and government agencies on a diverse range of energy matters. Her expertise includes advising on greenfield and brownfield power (including conventional and solar PV, onshore and offshore wind, biomass and waste-to-energy) projects, upstream oil & gas matters, nuclear decommissioning, waste and mining projects, energy M&A and energy and carbon regulatory issues.
Caroline regularly drafts and negotiates complex commercial arrangements, including power purchase agreements, retail and wholesale electricity, gas and carbon trading agreements, tolling agreements, gas storage and transportation and grid connection and access arrangements and joint venture agreements.
