Mike has extensive experience working on energy projects in several jurisdictions, most notably in Australia, South Africa and across Africa.
Mike's specific experience covers project development (including M&A, corporate structuring, due diligence, joint development / shareholder agreements); project documents (including construction and operation agreements); power purchase agreements (including retailer / corporate PPAs, and proxy revenue swaps, on either a bespoke or ISDA basis); energy regulatory including in relation to the National Electricity Market; carbon markets and the trading of carbon credits; managing and co-ordinating the debt financing of large scale energy projects including the interplay between finance and project documents.
