Ashurst advises Allianz on the financing for the acquisition of 49 of EniPower

    Global law firm Ashurst advised Allianz Global Investors GmbH, acting as lender on the acquisition by a vehicle owned by Sixth Street of the 49% of the share capital of EniPower, the Eni subsidiary operating in the field of production of electricity from co-generation plants. The acquisition will be partially financed through bonds issued by funds managed by Allianz Global Investors Gmbh.

    The completion of the transaction is subject to the fulfilment of certain conditions precedent, including those related to the approvals by the competent authorities.
