James Marshall, APAC Head of Restructuring and Special Situations, said:
"Bernie is an impressive restructuring lawyer with a strong client focus and he will be a welcome addition to our team. His work for private equity funds, hedge funds and credit funds means he is well-placed to service some of the most active segments of the restructuring market currently. His practice will add to Ashurst's top-rated existing offering and continue to strengthen our expertise across the market."
"I am excited to join Ashurst's renowned and market-leading Restructuring and Special Situations Group and look forward to working with the team to provide top level service to clients in Australia and abroad. Ashurst's global reach and commercial outlook are of particular appeal and provide a significant opportunity to continue to grow and expand my practice."
