    Ashurst is the first professional services firm to partner with Circle In, an organisation dedicated to supporting working parents, and the first to take the platform on a global scale to its international network.

    The customised platform is available to all of the firm's employees who are considering starting a family, preparing for the arrival of their newest addition or returning from parental leave.

    'Stay in Touch' is a global resource, with localised content and tailored resources for each of Ashurst's regions including:

    • expert articles and online coaching covering all stages of parental leave (pre, during, post and return to work);
    • case studies and interviews with Ashurst working parents, as well as articles to keep those on leave up-to-date with firm developments; and
    • partner/manager and employee toolkits with notifications being sent via email, to keep track of key dates and milestones.

    Paul Jenkins, global managing partner said:

    "Ashurst is thrilled to be launching 'Stay in Touch', and to be both the first global, and the first professional services firm to offer this valuable resource to our staff.

    "Ashurst's vision is to create the best place to work for our people and to be the most progressive global law firm, and ensuring our workplace is diverse and inclusive is key to that. Working parents make up a large proportion of our firm so it is vital they are supported to develop and thrive here at Ashurst."

    Chief people officer, Caroline Rawes commented:

    "'Stay in Touch' will provide an important link, to ensure that all parents who are considering, on or returning from parental leave are able to easily stay connected to the firm, and feel confident and supported when they return to work.”

    The portal provides additional resources for global staff alongside existing firm-wide initiatives and policies supporting working parents, such as parental leave coaching, Ashurst's Family Matters network and smarter working.
