Global law firm Ashurst is advising Carr's Group plc on its proposed return of capital to shareholders of up to £70 million by way of a tender offer.

This follows the completion of Carr's sale of the majority of its Engineering Division earlier this year, on which Ashurst also advised.

The proposed tender offer remains subject to the approval of Carr's shareholders, and is expected to complete by the end of June 2025.

The Ashurst team was led by partner Harry Thimont, supported by senior associate Louise Johnson, and associates Marisa Muramatsu and Jasmine Fox. The wider team included partner Stuart Rubin and senior counsel Jeffrey Johnson on US securities matters, and partners Nicholas Gardner and Sharon Kim, senior associate Shayaan Zaraq Bari and associate Evan Lin on UK and US tax matters.
