Stuart Dullard is a partner in our corporate practice

Stuart specialises in mergers & acquisitions and equity capital market transactions. Stuart has a particular focus on private equity and venture capital and regularly advises a full spectrum of clients within the sector, including PE and VC funds, CVC clients, early stage companies, consortiums and HNW investors.

Stuart has worked on some of Australia's largest and most complex corporate transactions, drawing on his experience working at the Takeovers Panel and in the investment banking team at N M Rothschild & Sons in London. Stuart was part of the team advising the consortium comprising KKR, Värde and Deutsche Bank on the $9.4 billion acquisition of the GE's consumer finance business and advised Blackstone on its proposed $650 million acquisition of the AMA Group Limited and the associated demerger and IPO of its spare parts business.

Stuart is a key member of Ashurst's FinTech team and is experienced in all aspects of the investment process from transactions structuring and term sheet negotiation, due diligence, seed funding, security terms for Series A & Series B Preference Shares, warrants, convertible notes, employee share plans and eventually through to exit (trade sales, dual tracks and IPOs). Stuart authored the chapter on FinTech in the ASX's "Entrepreneur's Guide: Startup | Scaleup | IPO"
