Duncan Liddell is a partner and head of our London antitrust, regulatory and trade practice

Duncan is a partner and head of the Antitrust, Regulatory and Trade and EU law department in London and he specialises in contentious and non-contentious UK and EU competition law. Admitted in England & Wales and Ireland, he has considerable experience in advising a wide range of clients on matters before the EU Commission, UK Competition and Markets Authority, UK sectoral regulators (including Ofcom and the FCA), and the UK and European Courts.

Duncan has a very active behavioural practice advising defendants and complainants in relation to contentious and non-contentious matters relating to anti-competitive practices, restrictive practices, cartel behaviour and abuse of a dominant position. He also has a wealth of experience advising on the international merger control aspects of a full range of corporate transaction (mergers, acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures).
