Ashurst advises Sonae on acquisition of leading plant-based food provider Gosh!

Gosh is a leading player in the fast-growing plant-based food sector, delivering clean label and free-from allergen products across the major retailers and food service providers in the UK both under the 'GOSH!' brand and as a private label.

Following the acquisition, GOSH will continue to be managed by the current management team, who will hold the 4.6% minority stake in the share capital of the Company.

The Ashurst team was led by corporate partners Markjan van Schaardenburgh and Braeden Donnelly, supported by associates Lauren Garrett, Jonathan Bisset and Rachael Bailey. Consultant Marcus Turle and associate Julia Bell advised in relation to commercial law matters. Advance Delivery Services manager Jessica Whitfield also advised.
