Wayne heads our national Health and Aged Care practice and specialises in health law, and corporate and commercial law. His commercial law work includes privatisation and contracting out of services, medical appointments, general health law matters, private health insurance, aged care, strategic commercial and regulatory advice.
He acts for a wide range of Australian public and private health care providers, and has had extensive involvement in hospital privatisation and co-location projects including PPP, BOO and BOOT transactions, acting for both government and private tenderers. Wayne has also acted on major health industry acquisitions and sales.
Wayne has acted for the Australian Government and all Australian States and Territories. He was the lead partner for the NSW Government on the outsourcing of the management of three correctional centres.
Wayne has extensive outsourcing experience, including acting on outsourcing the management of correctional centres for the NSW Government, and advising on hundreds of outsourcing projects in a variety of sectors including information technology, pathology, radiology and pharmacy.
