Tom is a senior associate in our Digital Economy Transactions practice
Tom specialises in data protection, privacy and cybersecurity law. His role involves supporting global companies on the full range of transactional and advisory matters with a particular focus on digital technologies such as generative AI and biometric data processing.
Tom is recognised as a key lawyer in Ashurst's Legal 500 ranking for its UK data protection practice and is commended for his "technical and commercial understanding".
Tom previously worked for two years in a global investment bank with responsibility for data protection compliance matters across the firm's business lines and more recently spent time on secondment in the privacy legal team at multinational technology conglomerate.
