Simon is a regulatory and commercial law expert, currently focused on the digital transformation of the financial services sector.
Simon has acquired extensive experience as in-house counsel for J.P. Morgan (as Associate General Counsel and Managing Director) and TP ICAP (as Head of Regulatory Affairs). As Past-Chair of the European Venues and Intermediaries Association and the Post-Trade Division Legal Committee of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe, Simon has been closely involved with the evolution of the regulatory architecture in Europe and the UK for many years. He remains a member of the FCA's Secondary Markets Advisory Committee.
