Rachel practises primarily in litigation and dispute resolution, with a strong focus on disputes in the infrastructure, construction, transport and resources sectors. She advises on complex contractual issues, including recourse to performance security, misrepresentation and estoppel claims, set-off rights, variations, delay and disruption, latent conditions, time bars, termination and repudiation.

Rachel acts for private and public sector clients in a range of alternative dispute resolution forums such as mediation, expert determination and arbitration, and has extensive experience pursuing and defending multi‑million dollar claims under security of payment legislation across multiple jurisdictions.

Drawing on her experience from long-term secondments with major public and private sector organisations, Rachel provides strategic, commercially focused advice to help resolve disputes efficiently and mitigate project risk. Rachel is known for clear, pragmatic guidance and effective resolution of high-value disputes under tight timeframes and has a strong track record resolving high‑value claims without litigation.
