Monica has over 17 years of experience practising in employment law, discrimination law and industrial relations, as well as work health and safety law and Commonwealth workers' compensation law.
Monica advises both public and private sector clients on employment related matters including effective management of workplace grievances, performance management and disciplinary matters, conducting misconduct investigations including investigations of potential breaches of the APS Code of Conduct, disputes concerning entitlements under collective agreements, contracts of employment, workplace policies, termination of employment, unlawful discrimination and harassment, occupational health and safety and Commonwealth employee workers compensation claims.
As a senior member of our Commonwealth employment practice, Monica regularly advises Commonwealth public sector clients on all manner of employment related matters. Monica has particular experience in litigation, both in common law Courts and in Federal and State employment and anti-discrimination Tribunals.
