Jordan advises government and commercial clients in relation to the management of disputes through alternative dispute resolution mechanisms and litigation.
Jordan has significant experience assisting clients in civil and administrative review proceedings in federal courts, state and territory superior courts, and tribunals.
Jordan regularly provides advice and appears as an advocate for clients in the Federal Court and Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
Jordan has particular expertise in the areas of statutory interpretation, administrative law and civil law (including claims in negligence).
She also has experience assisting government clients in relation to claims under the Compensation for Detriment caused by Defective Administration Scheme, and in relation to privacy and Freedom of Information.
Jordan also has experience in a range of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, including conciliation, mediation, and arbitration.
Jordan routinely appears in conciliations and other settlement conferences for clients.
