Jonathan Haines is a partner in our derivatives and structured products practice
Jonathan has wide experience advising investment banks and other financial institutions on securities financing and derivatives transactions. He has particular expertise in corporate equity derivatives, margin financing, structured repo and stocklending, prime brokerage, clearing, listed derivatives, longevity risk transfers, and related regulatory matters.
Jonathan has led major implementation projects for the delivery of regulatory change, including mandatory margining and Brexit-related assignments.
He also specialises in the impact of default and insolvency on derivatives and securities financing transactions, including enforcement of security interests and close out netting.
