Dr. Galina Matjuschkin is an associate in our finance department and a member of our global loans team
Galina advises banks, private equity investors and corporate clients on leveraged and acquisition finance both in domestic and cross-border transactions.
Prior to joining Ashurst, Galina practiced banking and finance law at another international, UK-based law firm in Frankfurt am Main as well as worked as trainee for a leading German bank, the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Securities Supervision & Regulation) and a US-based international law firm with focus on debt and equity capital markets.
Galina studied law at the Goethe University of Frankfurt am Main, holds a doctorate in law from Heidelberg University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Cornell Law School.
