Gabrielle is a partner in the litigation and dispute resolution group, specialising in insurance litigation. She advises clients in relation to enforcement of insurance and indemnity coverage, multi-party litigation, contract disputes, actions based in tort and under Australian Consumer Law, product liability, regulatory, disciplinary and professional indemnity disputes. Gabrielle specialises in the energy and resources, retail and hospitality and government sectors in Australia.
Gabrielle currently acts for a wide variety of insured and self-insured corporations, providing advice on risk management, liability exposure, contractual recovery and indemnity as well as defending clients in claims brought before the Australian Courts.
Gabrielle has expertise in both the Federal and Queensland Courts and has represented clients in the High Court of Australia and before the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and the Queensland Industrial Relations Commission. She is also actively involved and has expertise in dispute resolution processes including mediation, case appraisal, conciliation and arbitration and represents clients in inquests and regulatory investigations.
