Eliza has over 18 years' experience supporting clients in relation to acquisitions and divestments, corporate governance, strategic investments and contracting.

Through undertaking three client secondments – at Sensis, ANZ and BHP – Eliza has gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of in-house client needs. Clients have noted her "extremely dedicated approach" and "outstanding customer care and service”.

Eliza has a particular expertise in the financial services, energy, FMCG, government sectors and with restructuring and distressed sales.

  • ANZ on its A$4.9 billion acquisition of Suncorp Bank from Suncorp Group; on the divestment of its margin lending loan portfolio to Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Limited; on the A$8.2bn divestment of its Esanda Finance Business; on its acquisition and integration of selected Asian businesses of the Royal Bank of Scotland.
  • API on its acquisition by Wesfarmers by scheme of arrangement and as defence adviser in response to various competing proposals.
  • Toll Holdings on the acquisition of Pel-Ari air ambulance business from Rex; and on the restructure and divestment of its Toll Global Express division to Allegro Funds.
  • Shell Energy Australia on its acquisition of ASX-listed ERM Power Ltd for A$700 million.
  • HOCHTIEF AG in relation to CIMIC Group Limited's sale of 50% of Thiess to funds advised by Elliott Advisors.
