Claire provides expert transaction and regulatory advice on project investment and development arrangements for global and domestic clients in the renewable, energy and resources industries.
She has advised on complex transactions (including acquisitions, divestments, cross-border transactions, private equity investments and joint ventures), project development and operational matters within the CSG, LNG, mining and renewables sectors, including advising on key transaction and project documents, regulatory matters, due diligence and other major commercial contracts.
Claire also has advised clients on their sustainability and energy transition strategies such as the development of waste coal mine gas projects in Queensland.
Claire brings practical insights into the development and delivery of large-scale energy projects and local market knowledge of the energy and resources sectors across Australia which she gained through significant 'in-house' experience at a global steelmaking coal producer and one of Australia's largest CSG and LNG proponents.
She is committed to helping clients navigate through the complex and dynamic landscape of sustainable energy transformation projects including emerging industries such as hydrogen and carbon capture and storage projects.
