Amanda provides practical and strategic advice on a wide range of employment, industrial relations and anti-discrimination issues to both private and public sector clients, including issues concerning wage compliance, engagement with regulators such as the Fair Work Ombudsman, enterprise bargaining and the management of employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
Amanda assists clients in conducting and defending complex employment-related litigation, including before the High Court of Australia, Federal Court of Australia, Federal Circuit Court of Australia, Fair Work Commission and various tribunals and commissions both at the State and Federal level.
Amanda also has particular expertise in relation to the Australian whistleblower protections laws. She has assisted in, and advised on, whistleblowing investigations, and has provided practical compliance advice regarding the 2019 private sector whistleblower laws to various clients, including global companies and global groups of companies.
