Akemi Kishimoto is a senior associate in our projects practice
Akemi specialises in energy projects, working with development finance institutions and commercial lenders, as well as project sponsors and developers, both in the financing and development, of major projects. She also acts for investors on acquisitions of equity stakes in project companies.
Akemi was based in Vietnam, Thailand and Singapore for more than eight years and has significant experience of energy projects in Southeast Asia, including conventional power and renewable projects.
Her previous experience includes a secondment within a multilateral development bank, and negotiations and implementation of international financial regulations at Financial Services Agency of Japan.
Akemi is qualified in England & Wales and Japan, and a CFA® charterholder. She speaks English, French, Spanish and Mandarin.
