Corporate Partner Karen Davies recognised in The Lawyers Hot 100

Over the past 12 months, Karen, who advises UK and overseas corporates and financial institutions on a range of M&A, corporate finance and ECM matters, has been focusing on proactively strengthening her client relationships across the board. She has reinforced Ashurst's links to Morgan Stanley by advising them as co-sponsor to Sainsbury's on its £1.2bn purchase of Home Retail Group. She was also a key adviser to Alberta Investment Management Corporation as it acquired London City Airport, and worked on EnQuest's equity raise, as part of one of the largest and most complex recent European oil company restructurings. In the past year, Karen has also worked with key corporate clients such as Xchanging, AVEVA group, Johnston Press, Chesnara and Gala Coral.
