BROWSE ABOUT USIt entails a solar photovoltaic co-development agreement with NRG+, an Italian-based renewable energy developer as well as the acquisition from Horizonfirm S.r.l. of a solar photovoltaic development project located in the municipality of Serracapriola (FG) . Aer Soléir will work with local partner NRG+ to develop the plant. Once fully developed, it will have an installed capacity of 50 MW, enough electricity to power up to 2,000 homes.
Throughout the co-development agreement with NRG+, Aer Soléir will strengthen its presence and commitment to the Italian market. The alliance will allow Aer Soléir to realise up to 500 MW of solar projects. This acquisition represents Aer Soléir’s first solar technology investment and the third investment in Italy, expanding Aer Soléir’s presence in the key Italian market.
Ashurst advised Aer Soléir with a team led by managing partner Carloandrea Meacci and partner Annamaria Pinzuti supported by associate Cristiana Montesarchio and Andrea Enni. Partner Elena Giuffrè and senior associate Gianluca Di Stefano advised on the regulatory aspects of the transaction.
