Consumer Duty Weekly: Your 2022 Recap
06 January 2023

2022 has come and gone, but it will never be forgotten, bringing us the FCA's final rules on the Consumer Duty (PS 22/9) together with its supporting non-handbook guidance (FG 22/5).
With the rules coming into force on 31 July 2023 onwards, it's safe to say that the Consumer Duty and its quick implementation turnaround has provided us with lots to talk about…
Enter: The Ashurst Consumer Duty Weekly series – in which our Financial Regulation team has discussed (and will continue to discuss) the key topics firms should consider when planning and actioning the implementation of the final rules and guidance.
Our Consumer Duty Weekly series will be kicking back off on Fridays, 9.30am to 10.30am (register for the series here). In the meantime, celebrate good times with us and revisit our 2022 sessions (with a couple of bonuses, for good measure) for a quick refresh (including video/audio links) of what we covered last year.
