Ashurst is a global firm with a correspondingly broad range of employees from varied cultural, ethnic and regional backgrounds. We employ over 40 different nationalities of many different faiths (and none) and acknowledge both the significant contribution this diversity delivers, and the critical importance of understanding and working effectively with those who come from different backgrounds, with different values and ideas.

We review our global action plan annually. Our main objectives are to:

  • Promote awareness and understanding of ethnicity, faith, and cultures at the firm.
  • Assist in the recruitment, development and retention of high quality socially, ethnically and culturally diverse candidates and staff.
  • Develop connections internally and externally with local communities and clients.

"All at Ashurst" is our multiculturalism network and organises a variety of events from the celebration of Nowruz (Persian spring festival), to Chinese New Year, Ramadan, and Harmony Day.
