Mario Lisanti appointed as Chair of the Credit Technical Committee of Confindustria Assoimmobiliare

    Global law firm Ashurst is pleased to announce the appointment of Mario Lisanti, the Italian banking practice lead, as the chair of the Credit Technical Committee of Confindustria Assoimmobiliare, the most prestigious industry association in the Italian real estate market, whose members include nearly 200 domestic and international market players, such as asset managers, institutional investors, legal, technical and tax advisors, credit servicers, insurance companies, and real estate companies and developers.

    Mario Lisanti is a senior practitioner with over 20 years of experience in representing lenders and borrowers in a wide range of real estate and real estate finance transactions. He has special expertise in advising international private debt funds on investments in the Italian real estate market, as well as international asset managers and investors on the structuring, establishment and financing of credit funds.

    Commenting on his appointment Mario said:

I am determined to contribute to the Association's activities and to bring my expertise and experience to the table.     The Technical Committees of Confindustria Assoimmobiliare play a crucial role in the in-depth study of the hot issues in the real estate sector from a financial, legal, socio-economic, and regulatory perspective. Their work will support the strategic action of the Association in 2024 and 2025.

    In addition to Mario, the following Ashurst lawyers will join the Technical Committees: Andrea Caputo (partner and head of the Italian real estate team), Michele Milanese (partner and head of the Italian tax team), Annalisa Santini (partner and head of the Italian structured finance team), Luca Maria Chieffo (counsel in the Italian banking team), Beatrice Melito (associate in the Italian banking team) and Vincenzo Esposito (associate in the real estate team).
