    Ashurst strengthens Paris corporate team with partner promotion

    Global law firm Ashurst has bolstered its corporate/M&A offering with the promotion of Charles-Douglas Fuz to partner in the Paris corporate team, effective 1 May 2025. Charles-Douglas is one of a 20-strong global cohort of new partners.

    Charles-Douglas is French and American and admitted to practice in both Paris and New York. He has extensive experience advising infrastructure and private equity funds, as well as strategic corporates on domestic and cross-border transactions, including M&A, private equity and joint-ventures, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors.

    Since joining Ashurst in 2020, Charles-Douglas has forged close relationships with several key clients of the firm and played an important role in strengthening Ashurst's Infra M&A offering in Europe. He collaborates closely with the Global Loans, Investment Funds, and Projects & Energy Transition teams and actively contributes to the growth of the firm's strategic markets, including France, Italy, Germany, and the United States.
