Ashurst Hong Kong's new office

In keeping with Ashurst's aspiration to outpace change and go beyond the ordinary, Ashurst today opens its doors to the next phase of its operation in Hong Kong as the firm moves into a new space within the Jardine House.

Located on the 42nd and 43rd floors of the Jardine House, the state-of-the-art facilities are in line with the firm's offices around the globe: sustainable, collaborative and agile. The new Hong Kong office space provides Ashurst with a more modern and flexible working environment which will improve employee connections and enhance client experience. Alongside modern facilities and infrastructure, the new office space features specially designed meeting rooms supported by cutting-edge technology, and collaborative break out and staff recreation areas. The office also engaged a local artist, Bo Law, to hand paint a mural wall, which is a wonderful design feature, and reflects Ashurst's values by supporting the local arts community and cultivating its cultural roots in the local community. Moving to the new space is an investment in Ashurst's people and clients. It is an adaptable workplace that is designed to evolve with future changes in business and the environment.

Ashurst has been part of the Jardine House community since 2008, and it is proud to celebrate the building's 50th anniversary this year. The Hong Kong office is also the first office in Jardine House to be awarded the Green Fitout Scheme by HongKong Land, reflecting its commitment to environmental sustainability. In addition to the office move, 2023 also marks a significant year as Ashurst celebrates its 15th anniversary in Hong Kong and 25th anniversary in China, building on its rich history spanning over 200 years. These milestones, coupled with the new office, represent a significant milestone in the firm's deep connection in China, and demonstrate the continued commitment to its clients who are based locally and around the globe.

Combining its global strength with an in-depth understanding of the local markets, Ashurst has seven offices in Asia including Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Jakarta, Tokyo, and a newly launched office in Seoul this year, making it the first international law firm permitted to practice Korean law.
