Ashurst appoints Arijit Tiwari in Singapore to strengthen structured products and derivatives capability
Global law firm Ashurst announces the appointment of Arijit Tiwari in its Global Loans & Global Markets practice, based in Singapore. Ari brings 15 years of experience in derivatives and structured products across international law firms and financial institutions. Ari will become a partner following regulatory approval.
Ari's practice covers structured products and derivatives, advising on a wide range of structured notes, warrants and certificates linked to indices, equities, funds, commodities and credit. He also advises structuring desks on algorithmic indices and provides exposure via structured products and OTC swaps. His regulatory experience includes work on PRIIPs and MiFID II implementation, as well as BRRD contract remediation exercises. Ari combines deep legal expertise with advanced technology capability, having developed proprietary automation solutions that enhance efficiency and turnaround time on high-volume structured product transactions.
