Ashurst advises Santander on €350m financing to ib vogt for its renewable assets’ platform

    Ashurst advised Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (Santander) on a €350m financing to ib vogt GmbH to build out its renewable assets' platform. The facility has a 5-year term. The parties have agreed not to disclose the further terms and conditions of the financing.

    Berlin-based international solar developer ib vogt focuses on the global development of turnkey PV plants and battery storage projects. The company plans to utilise the capital for financing the construction of projects sourced from its international pipeline, refinancing existing credit facilities, and expanding their bonding lines.

    The Ashurst team was led by counsel Gabrielle Metherall and partner Derk Opitz (both Global Loans). They were assisted by partner Dr Maximilian Uibeleisen (Projects & Energy Transition) as well as associates Tobias Bürk and Isabelle Renninger-Dupont (both Global Loans).
