Ashurst advises Polo Managing Agency on its third-party management service arrangements

As a third-party Managing Agent at Lloyd's, PMA will be managing the syndicate, with Polo Commercial Insurance Services providing operational support.
Wakam is a European B2B2C insurer, that creates white-label bespoke insurance solutions for more than 150 distribution partners and over 8 million policyholders, via its advanced technology platform. The syndicate was launched with the strategic guidance of PMA under Lloyd's Syndicate in a Box initiative and will operate on the Lloyd's platform.
The Ashurst team was led by London corporate transactions partners Jacob Gold and Rob Aird and included employment partner Crowley Woodford and senior associate Claire Bradbury.
