Ashurst advises on the £378 million recommended takeover of Lok'nStore Group plc

    Global law firm Ashurst is advising J.P. Morgan Cazenove on the £378m recommended offer for Lok'nStore Group plc by Shurgard Self Storage.

    Lok'nStore is a leading company in the UK self-storage market, which opened its first store in February 1995 and which has grown consistently over the last 29 years with 43 stores (17 owned stores, 9 leased stores and 17 stores under management contract) operating across England and Wales.

    Shurgard is the largest developer, owner and operator of self-storage facilities in Europe, both by numbers of stores and rentable space.

    The Ashurst team is being led by partners Harry Thimont, Tim Rennie and Tom Mercer, assisted by senior associate Asil Robertson and associate Sylvia Lloyd-Morris.
