    Ashurst advised Octopus Energy Generation on the acquisition of a 49.9% stake in a 107 MW onshore wind farm portfolio in France

    Global law firm Ashurst has advised Octopus Energy Generation, acting on behalf of the Sky fund, on the acquisition of a 49.9% stake in a portfolio of onshore wind farms located in France from Banque des Territoires, the investment arm of Caisse des Dépôts.

    The transaction involved the acquisition of TramuntanaCo, a holding company through which Banque des Territoires held its 49.9% interest in the portfolio, which includes four projects with a combined installed capacity of 107.1MW.

    The Ashurst team was led by corporate partner Charles-Douglas Fuz, with support from counsel Gaspard Bastien-Thiry and associates Sarah Chemouny and Paloma Cardon-Torres.
