Client challenge
Our client is one of Australia's leading wealth managers. Their key strategic initiatives have included the 2020 acquisition of a large superannuation fund from one Australian Big Four Bank and the earlier acquisition of the wealth management arm of another.
To fully realise the benefits from these acquisitions, our client needed to effectively integrate these businesses with its existing wealth management operations while delivering on other strategic initiatives and business as usual requirements.
Our solution
We worked with our client to understand and fulfil their needs for this integration project. We have continued to work with them as their needs changed.
Our legal consultant team includes:
a consultant with technical skills to support a workstream integrating IT/software licensing agreements. This 12-month, full-time contract was extended for another year
a second consultant supporting this workstream on a part-time, 12-month contract
a third legal consultant on a part-time, 18-month contract supports the commercial integration workstream.
