SpeakUp@Ashurst
Ashurst is committed to ensuring that everyone is treated fairly and respectfully, as well as adhering to the highest standards of ethical behaviour in the conduct of our business and other activities worldwide.
Central to the Ashurst culture is that everyone who works at the firm, or those who deal with us, feel valued, supported and empowered to thrive.
Our Board and Executive Team are committed to ensuring we have robust mechanisms in place to support safety and wellbeing in the workplace such that our partners, people, clients (those who are being directly advised by us), suppliers and visitors enjoy a respectful working environment that is safe and free from harassment (including sexual harassment), bullying, discrimination or other inappropriate or unlawful behaviour.
To help us with this, our firmwide Respect@Ashurst initiative encompasses topics such as leadership, culture, knowledge, risk management, reporting, support and measurement.
As part of the Respect@Ashurst initiative, we have launched SpeakUp@Ashurst – an online portal where individuals can raise issues:
- relating to workplace behaviour, or
- make a whistleblowing disclosure.
SpeakUp@Ashurst is an independently hosted digital platform that can be accessed online, with a choice as to whether the reporter would like to identify themself or remain anonymous.
We have also refreshed our key policies that relate to the portal and its usage. Please see our Global Privacy Policy and our Global Whistleblowing Protection Policy and Procedure Policy for further information.
We each have a responsibility to ensure that the working environment for all is respectful, safe, enjoyable and reflects our values and brand.
Via this initiative we are committed to the wellbeing of everyone who works at, or with Ashurst, and to providing a safe and respectful environment for all.
