Dr. Tobias Bauerfeind is an associate in our finance department and a member of our German regulatory practice
Tobias advises banks, fintechs, financial and investment services firms, fund managers, payment service providers as well as institutional investors on all regulatory issues. His practice covers all fields of investment and financial supervisory law as well as corporate law/banking M&A.
During his doctorate (JGU Mainz) and legal clerkship (OLG Frankfurt) he worked in supervisory law for various international law firms as well as for the German Central Bank (Bundesbank) and the ECB. He studied law in Mainz, Berkeley (Cal) and Oxford (Brookes, LL.M.).
Tobias is a reader in financial market law at the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and publishes regularly in relevant journals.
