Dr Stephan Hennrich is a partner in our corporate transactions practice
Stephan advises national and international corporate and private equity clients on M&A transactions, public takeovers as well as complex contracts. He has extensive experience in public and private M&A, stock corporation matters, cross-border mergers and IPOs. He has a particular focus on the energy and telecommunications industries, as well as other regulated industries.
Stephan studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg and at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He obtained a doctorate in law (Dr. iur.) at Bucerius Law School for a thesis on the pledge of shares in cross-border securities transactions. He was admitted to the German bar in 2011.
Prior to joining Ashurst in 2020, Stephan was a Counsel in the Frankfurt office of the German law firm Hengeler Mueller. He had been on secondments to Vitol Group (2015) and Slaughter and May (2015/2016) in London.
