Simon is Counsel in our financial regulation practice in London. He is a highly experienced lawyer with over 27 years financial services sector experience. Simon was previously a financial services General Counsel, and prior to that a Chambers & Partners recognised law firm partner. Throughout his career Simon has acted on numerous cutting-edge, innovative and pioneering projects. He has represented a panoply of clients, from a central bank, regulatory bodies, global trade associations and large listed corporations, to start-ups. He has participated on, and Chaired, numerous industry working groups and committees.
Simon provides high value and technical advice on all aspects of financial legislation and regulation, from perimeter guidance, authorisations, regulatory reorganisations and restructurings, and regulatory investigations, to financial distress and insolvency. He has particular expertise in the digital assets transformation of the financial services sector.
