Sid focuses on delivering cyber and technology risk services to clients and has worked across various industries in the private sector and several agencies in government and for almost 25 years, across multiple continents. During his tenure as the Global Cyber and Strategic Risk Leader at a Big 4 firm, he helped clients manage cyber incidents, (including ransomware attacks). Sid has an NV1 security clearance from the Australian Commonwealth Government and has delivered on large, complex, multi-year risk transformation programs including helping clients secure information and data, performing cyber security accreditation and reviews against the Essential 8 baseline mitigation strategies (from the Strategies to Mitigate Cyber Security Incidents) recommended for organisations, to driving the strategic risk agenda and leading complex IT Project Assurance engagements.
Sid is a partner in Ashurst Risk Advisory and also serves as the Global Chief Technology Officer for the firm responsible for the technology environment, including IT operations, cyber security and major incident management. He brings both consulting and practical in house experience to bear at our clients.
