Phillip Hinz

Phillip Hinz is an associate in our dispute resolution and IP practice in Munich

Philip advises national and international clients on intellectual property matters and unfair competition litigation, focusing particularly on copyright, trademark, disputes and design law.

He studied law at Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. He is currently an LL.M. candidate in European Intellectual Property Law at Stockholm University in Sweden. During his academic studies, he focused heavily on intellectual property law and technological aspects, in particular copyright and artificial intelligence. 

After successfully completing his studies, he worked as a research assistant specialising in intellectual property law at a renowned national law firm. Throughout his legal clerkship in Munich, Philip gained further practical experience working with a renowned national law firm in the areas of copyright, media and entertainment.

Philip is a member of the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (GRUR).
