Peter is a litigation lawyer with two decades of experience across Australia and Japan. He has worked on a variety of disputes including class actions (both securities and product related), construction and property disputes, M&A litigation, regulatory proceedings, insolvency disputes, shareholder disputes, arbitration and disputes with government over licensing and revenue. Significant matters include the Myer shareholder class action (the first shareholder class action to proceed to judgment in Australian history), Tatts Group's $540 million claim against the State of Victoria and litigation concerning the collapse of FTX group.
Peter has written numerous legal publications; is an editor of the LexisNexis publication, Inhouse Counsel; and was an author for Wolters Kluwer's trade practices commentary from 2017 to 2026. He has previously worked at law firms, Clayton Utz and Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, and as a secondee at the Business Council of Australia.
