Paul supports clients in the energy and resources sector especially those involved in the electricity, gas and renewables industries.

Paul has acted on some of the most significant transactions and projects in the energy and resource sector since the early 1990s. Paul advises clients on the acquisition and disposal of energy facilities and businesses (electricity, LNG and downstream gas), the development of new facilities (particularly electricity generation, LNG and downstream gas), the development of generation solutions using a variety of fuels (conventional and green), climate change and carbon issues (regulatory and commercial issues in the electricity and gas sectors), gas agreements, electricity connection agreements and retail agreements, derivative transactions in the electricity sector, and regulatory compliance programs and technical disputes in the electricity sector.
