Nina Schwartz

Prior to joining Ashurst, Nina worked as a trainee lawyer at another law firm in Brussels, where she gained experience in antitrust law and foreign trade, working on multiple matters relating to sanctions, customs and other areas of public international law. Nina studied law at the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, where she already had a focus on public international law and European law. She participated in an international moot court competition (Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition) in the area of public international law, where she was a member of the LMU Munich team that became the national runner-up in Munich and participated in the international rounds in Washington D.C., USA. She also gained insights into the practice of public international law and foreign relations through her work as an assistant to the Honorary Consul of the Philippines in Munich. Nina is a fully qualified lawyer in Germany and is admitted to the bar in Munich.
