Nicola Baresi is a senior associate in our global markets department
Nicola has focused on securitisations (both traditional and synthetic) and other structured finance transactions, both performing and non-performing, providing assistance to domestic and international banks and international investors. In recent years he has been involved in the creation and development of innovative platforms for the sale and management of distressed assets, advising funds, servicers and banks on innovative transactions in the Italian market.
He also advises banks, investors, servicers and financial institutions in connection with securitisation transactions benefiting from the Italian State guarantee (GACS), investment products and bond issues.
Before joining Ashurst he worked in primary Italian law firms.
