Nadja Reiß is an associate in our German financial regulatory practice
Nadja advises national and international banks, investment firms, fintech companies, and payment institutions on all aspects of financial market regulation. Her practice includes guidance on prudential supervision and the implementation of key EU regulatory frameworks, including MiFID II, PSD2, and CRR/CRD, along with their national transpositions. She also represents clients in regulatory enforcement proceedings before financial supervisory authorities and supports license application procedures.
Nadja studied law at the University of Freiburg and the University of Helsinki. During her legal clerkship (OLG Frankfurt), she completed a stage at the European Central Bank (ECB).
Before joining Ashurst, she worked at another leading international law firm for over three years, advising financial institutions on EU and German regulatory requirements and capital market transactions.
