Melanie specialises in employment, industrial relations and discrimination. Melanie advises employers from across industries on their obligations under state and federal workplace relations legislation, anti-discrimination legislation, health and safety laws, as well as employment matters including unfair dismissal, adverse action and bullying claims, employee disciplinary matters, restructuring and redundancies, transfer of business issues and drafting employment agreements and policies.
Melanie has represented clients in the Fair Work Commission in unfair dismissal proceedings, adverse action and bullying claims, as well as enterprise bargaining and industrial disputes. She has also conducted employment, discrimination and industrial relations related litigation proceedings in the Federal and District Courts.
