Matthew Harper

Matthew practises in competition and consumer law and energy regulation and advises Australian and international clients on contentious and non-contentious matters in these areas.

Matthew has experience in assisting clients to obtain merger clearance for strategic transactions, including experience in responding to in-depth ACCC investigations and in appealing to the Australian Competition Tribunal. He also assists clients in responding to complex competition and consumer investigations.

Matthew advises client in a wide range of industries and has had particular experience in retail/fast-moving consumer goods, energy and infrastructure, and banking and insurance.
